8ease makes eleven insoles, and that is both the strength of the range and the reason people write to us asking which one to buy. Each one is built for a specific foot or a specific day, so the right answer depends on you, not on which is "best".

This page puts all eleven side by side on the things that actually differ: the arch, the heel cup, how firm it is, which shoes it fits, and the price. Then it answers the question the way most people ask it: best for flat feet, best for heel pain, best for running, best for the office, and so on. The last column is the one to read first: how each compares with the thin factory liner that came in your shoe, because that is what you are replacing.

Three questions that narrow it to one

Is anything actually hurting? If yes, go by the pain: sharp morning heel pain points to the Plantar Specialist; aching arches to a ProSupport at your arch height; a sore forefoot in sport shoes to Sports Support or Racket Pro. The foot pain guide sorts this by where it hurts. If nothing hurts and your feet are just tired, you want comfort, not structure: Daily Relief or Revive.

What is your arch? Wet your foot, step on a dry tile. Whole foot shows: Low Arch. A curve on the inside: Medium Arch, or the Daily Relief if you do not want a firm shell. A thin strip or gap: High Arch. Two minutes, and it rules out most of the table. Step by step in Arch support insoles explained.

Which shoes will it live in? A court shoe needs the Racket Pro's slim profile and lateral shell. Spikes need the Cricket Pro. A flat or a jutti will not take a full insole at all, which is what Belle SoleComfort and the Belle pads are for. Everything else, from office formals to sneakers, takes any of the full-length insoles once the factory liner is out.

Best for each need

A chef and a desk worker standing on 8ease Circulo Active Mats, with runners, gym and football feet below

Best for flat feet: ProSupport Low Arch. A 7 mm shell lifts a low arch without fighting it, and the deep heel cup stops the inward roll. Not the High Arch, however much the foot hurts; a flat foot on a 17 mm arch feels like standing on a golf ball. For a child with flat feet in school shoes, Sprouts.

Best for heel pain and plantar fasciitis: Plantar Specialist. The deepest heel cup in the range and a firm arch that takes tension off the fascia. For heel soreness in office shoes without the morning stab, ComfortStep Heel Pads at ₹279 do the job.

Best for standing all day: Daily Relief Arch Insole. Teachers, retail, healthcare, kitchens: a soft arch and real cushioning in a slim profile that fits formal shoes. If you stand in one spot, pair it with the Circulo Active Mat under you.

Best for office shoes: Daily Relief for most people. If you have flat feet, the ProSupport Low Arch also fits formals. If the shoe is too shallow for any full insole, ComfortStep heel pads.

Best for running and the gym: Sports Support Insole. OrthoLite® rebound foam that absorbs the landing and springs back, a contoured arch and an anti-slip base. Flat-footed runners who still roll inward: ProSupport Low Arch in the running shoes instead.

Best for badminton, tennis and pickleball: Racket Pro. Built for lunges and sideways pushes, which a running insole is not. Fits Yonex, Victor, Li-Ning, Hundred and Asics court shoes.

Best for cricket: Cricket Pro. A deep heel cup for the landing foot, arch support for long hours in the field, metatarsal pads for batting and fielding, and it washes the red soil off.

Best for heels, flats and juttis: Belle SoleComfort for whole-foot cushioning in a flat; the ArchEase Cushions if the flat has no arch; HighHeel Wellness pads for heels. All ₹279 except SoleComfort at ₹799. The full-foot vs partial pads guide explains which goes in what.

Best for children: Sprouts, sized for children's shoes, soft arch, no rigid shell. Under about six, usually not needed at all; the flat feet guide has the when-to-act section.

Best on a budget: Basics Revive at ₹299. The same OrthoLite® foam as the rest of the range without the moulded arch. If it helps, you know an insole is the answer, and you can step up to Daily Relief or a ProSupport later.

If you need two

Most people wear more than one pair of shoes, and an insole only works in the shoe it is in. The kits pair the two that most often go together, 5% less than buying them separately: Work + Workout Duo (Daily Relief and Sports Support, ₹1,139), Plantar Recovery Kit (Plantar Specialist and ComfortStep, ₹1,689), the Racket Pro and Cricket Pro Match + Training Kits (₹2,039 each), and the Parent + Kid Duo (Sprouts and Daily Relief, ₹1,279). You pick a size for each insole on the kit page.

Frequently asked questions

Which 8ease insole is the best overall?
For most people with no specific foot problem, the Daily Relief Arch Insole: real cushioning, a soft arch, and it fits almost every closed shoe. If something hurts, or you play one sport seriously, one of the specialist insoles above will do more for you.

ProSupport or Daily Relief?
Daily Relief is comfort: a soft moulded arch in cushioning foam. ProSupport is structure: a semi-rigid arch shell at a chosen height. If your feet are tired, Daily Relief. If your arches ache or your feet roll inward, ProSupport at your arch height.

Can I use one insole in all my shoes?
Yes, if you move it. All 8ease insoles are trim-to-fit and washable. Trim to the smallest shoe you will use it in and it fits the rest. Many people buy a second pair instead, which is what the kits are for.

Why are the sports and plantar insoles more expensive?
They carry a TPU shell or stability structure and more foam in the zones that take impact. The everyday insoles do not need that, which is why they cost less.

Do 8ease insoles fit Indian feet?
They are cut wide and trimmed to your shoe, offered in three arch heights, and made in India. Why that matters, with the measurements, is in Insoles for Indian feet.

How long do they last?
The OrthoLite® foam keeps its shape through about two years of regular use. Replace when the cushioning stops springing back or the arch feels flat. Children's insoles sooner, as feet grow.
