01

A fast bowler's landing drives 5–7 times body weight through the front heel — 60+ times in a single spell. The Bowling Heel Shield is a deep heel cup with high-density cushioning sitting directly under the strike zone, designed to absorb and spread that load so the cumulative hammering stops at the insole, not the heel bone.

02

A 25mm contoured arch on a rigid TPU base carries the load your arch muscles otherwise carry alone. It holds its shape through repeated landings, helping reduce the arch fatigue and overpronation that build across a long spell or a long innings — and the knee and lower-back strain that come with them.

03

One match asks three different things of your feet: explosive run-ups, hours held still at the crease, sharp lateral cuts in the outfield. Cricket Pro is zoned for all three — heel shield for bowling, Pro-Arch shell through long innings, and metatarsal pads set just behind the metatarsal heads to spread forefoot pressure instead of letting it peak on one burning spot.

04

Pull out the flat liner that came with your cricket shoes — it usually lifts straight out. Slide Cricket Pro in heel-first and trim along the guide lines on the underside to your exact shoe shape. The anti-slip base keeps it locked through lateral movement, and it moves between spike boots, studded shoes and net trainers without re-trimming. Machine washable after every match.

Built for Every Role on the Field

The Science Behind the Support

Powered by OrthoLite® — the open-cell PU foam trusted by 500+ of the world's performance footwear brands — every Cricket Pro delivers active cushioning that absorbs impact, returns energy on the next step, and keeps breathing through the longest sessions.

OrthoLite® Open-Cell Foam

Not memory foam, not gel. Open-cell PU that springs back after each impact instead of slowly packing down into a flat, useless layer. OrthoLite states its foam compresses less than 5% over the life of the product — which is why the support holds across seasons of regular play rather than fading inside one.

Breathable in Indian Heat

The open-cell structure lets air move continuously while the moisture-wicking top fabric pulls sweat off the skin, so heat and damp don't build up inside a closed cricket shoe through 8 hours of play in 35°C.

Built to Last Multiple Seasons

The thin liner that comes free inside most cricket shoes is low-density filler foam. It packs down under load, and it flattens fastest in the early weeks — long before the shoe itself looks worn. Cricket Pro is built to hold its shape and support for 2+ years instead: water-resistant and machine washable, so red soil, sweat and monsoon damp rinse off and it plays again. Backed by the APMA Seal of Acceptance.

Purpose-Built Over Factory-Fitted

Every cricket shoe ships with an insole. It isn't engineered for cricket — it's a flat piece of low-density foam that happens to be in the box, and it packs down under load faster than the shoe around it wears out. All the while your front heel is absorbing 5–7 times your body weight on every delivery. Generic insoles answer that with more softness, which flattens just as fast. Cricket Pro answers it with structure mapped to the sport: a heel shield under the landing zone, a 25mm TPU shell through long innings, metatarsal pads where batting and fielding concentrate pressure. Three different loads, three engineered zones. That's what purpose-built means.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How long can I wear Cricket Pro in a day?

All day, and all match. It's designed for the full duration — warm-up, bowling spells, batting, fielding and the walk off. OrthoLite states its foam compresses less than 5% over the life of the product, so it doesn't bottom out: the support you feel in the first over is still there in the last.

Will Cricket Pro work with all types of shoes?

It's built around cricket footwear. It fits studded cricket shoes, spike boots, flat-sole net trainers and cross-trainers in UK 6–12. The full-length design and anti-slip base are made for shoes with studs or spikes, so it stays locked in through run-ups and direction changes rather than shifting underfoot.

Can I move or reuse them between shoes?

Yes — that's the point. Trim once to your size and move the same pair between match spikes, studded shoes, training sneakers and net shoes without re-trimming. Built for 2+ years of regular play, so one pair covers your whole kit bag across multiple seasons instead of one liner per shoe.

How do I fit Cricket Pro correctly?

Three steps. Place Cricket Pro on top of your existing liner, trace the trim line, and cut along the guide lines on the underside. Then remove the old liner and slide Cricket Pro in heel-first, flat against the footbed — deep heel cup at the back, the 25mm arch under your natural arch, metatarsal pads just behind the ball of your foot.

Will they damage my shoes or leave marks?

No. Cricket Pro sits inside against the footbed with no adhesive and no contact with the upper or exterior. It goes in and lifts out cleanly. If anything it protects the inside of the shoe, taking the sweat and impact that would otherwise soak into the footbed.

Will they make my shoes feel tighter or add bulk?

Cricket Pro replaces your stock liner rather than stacking on top of it, so it isn't adding a layer. Most cricket shoes in UK 6–12 take a full-length insole without any volume issue. If your shoes are already a tight fit, go up half a size.

Is there another 8ease product I should use alongside Cricket Pro?

Depends on what else you're on your feet for. For court sports — badminton, tennis, squash — Racket Pro is built for those lateral loads. If your issue is structural rather than sport-specific, the 8ease Pro Support range is built for arch problems across everyday and training wear, and the Plantar Specialist is the one to look at if you've been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. Cricket Pro stays in your cricket shoes; the others cover the rest of the week.

Your Smartest Investment in Performance

Cricket gives your feet nothing back — 5–7 times your body weight on every delivery, hours at the crease, kilometres in the field, all landing on a liner that flattened weeks ago. Cricket Pro puts structure where each of those loads lands: heel shield, 25mm Pro-Arch shell, forefoot pads. Slip them in before your next session and feel the difference from the first over.
