Your plantar fascia — the band of tissue running from your heel to your toes — tightens overnight and gets stretched the moment your foot takes weight in the morning. Soft foam insoles feel good in the shop and then flatten out under body weight, which leaves the arch unsupported at exactly the moment it matters. The 25mm semi-rigid arch is held up by a TPU stability shell, so it's still there on step one and still there on step ten thousand.
Under your heel sits a fat pad — your body's own shock absorber. Left uncontained, it spreads sideways on impact and the force concentrates at the point where the fascia attaches to the heel bone. The deep, reinforced heel cup cradles that pad and keeps it centred under the heel bone, so ground strike spreads across the whole heel instead of landing on one spot. On marble and stone tile — India's hardest, least forgiving floors — that difference is the whole product.
The OrthoLite® Recovery Foam Layer sits above the shell: open-cell foam that returns energy step after step rather than packing down. Ordinary low-density foam loses its cushioning fastest in the early weeks of wear, well before it looks worn out. OrthoLite states its foam compresses less than 5% over the life of the product — which is why it's the foam inside footwear from 500+ global brands, and why this one is still working in year two. Forefoot and heel shock absorption zones take the repetitive impact before it travels back up through the fascia.
Three sizes: S (UK 3–6), M (UK 6–9), L (UK 9–12), each with marked trim lines. Cut once with scissors to fit formal shoes, sneakers, loafers, sports or running shoes. The anti-slip base holds position without adhesive, the anti-microbial fabric top resists odour, and the whole insole is 100% machine washable — built to last 2+ years of daily use rather than three months.

Three Layers, One Job
Plantar Specialist is a dual-layer system: an OrthoLite® open-cell foam layer for responsive cushioning, sitting on a semi-rigid TPU shell for structure. It's engineered to support the arch under load rather than only soften the surface underfoot.
25mm Semi-Rigid Arch Support
The TPU-reinforced curve is set to hold your arch in position under your full body weight, which is what reduces the stretch on the plantar fascia. Semi-rigid, not soft — firm enough to keep its shape across a full standing day, contoured so it doesn't fight the foot.
Deep Heel Cup Design
The recessed cup surrounds and centres the heel fat pad so impact disperses across the heel rather than concentrating at the fascia attachment point. It's the same structural logic applied to heel spurs, which commonly develop alongside plantar fasciitis and share the same load pattern.

Soft Foam Feels Good. Semi-Rigid Support Works.
Most insoles answer plantar fasciitis with more softness — thicker foam, a gel pad under the heel, a better first impression in the shop. Softness doesn't change the mechanics. The fascia hurts because it's being loaded and stretched beyond what it can take on every step, and foam that collapses under body weight leaves the arch exactly where it was. Plantar Specialist starts from the other end. A semi-rigid TPU shell holds the 25mm arch under your full weight, and the deep heel cup keeps the heel fat pad centred so impact spreads instead of concentrating. Designed around marble floors, tile, chappals, and standing shifts. Structure first. Cushioning second.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How long can I wear Plantar Specialist in a day?
The goal is all day — from the first step out of bed until your shoes come off at night, including at home on hard floors. If you're coming from soft foam or gel insoles, semi-rigid support will feel noticeably firmer under the arch for the first few days; that's the structure doing its job, and it's worth easing into it rather than starting with a twelve-hour shift. Wear them for part of the day at first and build up as they start to feel normal. Most people notice a difference within the first week, but be honest with yourself about the timeline — how long you've had the pain and how severe it is will change how quickly it eases.
Will Plantar Specialist work with all types of shoes?
Yes, across formal shoes, sneakers, loafers, sports shoes and running shoes. It's designed to replace the existing factory insole rather than sit on top of it, so it works best in any shoe with a removable footbed. Very shallow or open styles — ballet flats, sandals — don't have the depth to hold a structured insole properly.
Can I move or reuse them between shoes?
Yes, and that's the design intent. Trim once to your size using the guide lines, then move the pair between shoes as your day changes. They're 100% machine washable — cold gentle cycle, air dry, no tumble drying — so they stay fresh across 2+ years of daily use rather than being replaced every few months.
How do I fit Plantar Specialist correctly?
Pick your size first: S (UK 3–6), M (UK 6–9), L (UK 9–12). If you're between sizes, size up and trim along the guide lines. Then lift out your shoe's factory insole from the heel end, lay Plantar Specialist over it as a template, trim if needed, and slide it in so the heel cup sits directly under your heel and the arch sits beneath your foot's natural arch. If the arch feels like it's sitting too far forward or back, you're likely in the wrong size.
Will they damage my shoes or leave marks?
No. There's no adhesive anywhere on the insole — the textured anti-slip base holds it against the footbed by friction alone, and it lifts out cleanly whenever you want it. Safe for leather, canvas and synthetic linings.
Will they make my shoes feel tighter or add bulk?
Not if you remove the factory insole first, which is how they're meant to be used — you're swapping one footbed for another, so the volume stays close to what you're used to. What will feel different is the arch: it's a 25mm semi-rigid contour, so you'll feel support under the middle of your foot where there was previously empty space. That's the point of the product, and it settles into feeling normal within a few days.
I've already tried other insoles and they didn't help — why would this be different?
Most insoles that don't work are soft foam or gel — they feel cushioned underfoot and provide no structural support, so the arch collapses under body weight exactly as it did before. Plantar Specialist uses a semi-rigid TPU shell that holds the 25mm arch in position under your full weight. If what you tried before was soft or gel-based, this is a different category of product rather than a softer version of the same one.
Is there another 8ease product I should use alongside Plantar Specialist?
It depends on what you need. Plantar Specialist is the single-purpose build — one arch height, one structure, engineered around plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and all-day standing, with the TPU stability shell as its backbone. If plantar fasciitis isn't your main issue, the Pro Support range is arch-height graduated so you pick the level of support you want: Daily Foundation for general foot fatigue and flat feet, Active Alignment for knee and back discomfort linked to flat feet, and Advanced Correction with a 17mm high-volume arch for severe flat feet and chronic heel pain. Advanced Correction is the choice if you want maximum arch volume across a range of needs; Plantar Specialist is the choice if plantar fascia load is the specific thing you're dealing with. Not sure? Write to customercare@8ease.in and we'll help you pick.
